Scope and reliability
This post summarizes pre-release/beta kit data for Columbina. Names, numbers, and mechanics can change before an official release.
Quick facts
- Element / Weapon: Hydro / Catalyst
- Rarity: 5-star (beta listing)
- Core scaling theme: Many key multipliers reference Max HP
- Energy cost: 60 (Elemental Burst)
Core mechanic: Lunar reactions and Gravity
Columbina’s kit is built around Lunar reaction variants and a personal meter called Gravity.
- Reaction conversion (passive): Electro-Charged / Bloom / Hydro-Crystallize are converted into Lunar-Charged / Lunar-Bloom / Lunar-Crystallize.
- Lunar reaction base damage bonus (passive): Lunar reaction Base DMG increases by 0.2% per 1,000 Max HP, up to 7% total. That cap occurs at 35,000 Max HP (0.2% × 35).
Elemental Skill: Eternal Tides
The Elemental Skill deals AoE Hydro damage and summons Gravity Ripple, an off-field companion that follows the active character and repeatedly hits nearby enemies with AoE Hydro.
- Gravity Ripple duration: 25s
- Cooldown: 17s (implies refreshable uptime in practice)
- Gravity limit: 60
How Gravity Interference triggers
While Gravity Ripple is active, whenever the party triggers Lunar reactions (or deals Lunar reaction damage), Columbina accumulates Gravity. When Gravity reaches its limit, she triggers Gravity Interference, and the outcome depends on which Lunar reaction type contributed the most Gravity.
- Lunar-Charged Interference: AoE “Lunar” damage (Electro-type outcome in the data tables), scaling with Max HP.
- Lunar-Bloom Interference: A 5-hit “Lunar” damage instance (Dendro-type outcome in the data tables), scaling with Max HP.
- Lunar-Crystallize Interference: AoE “Lunar” damage (Geo-type outcome in the data tables), scaling with Max HP.
Baseline multipliers snapshot (Talent Lv. 1)
These values are listed as Max HP multipliers (exact hit rate/tick rate is not specified in this dataset):
- Skill hit: 16.72% Max HP
- Gravity Ripple continuous damage: 9.36% Max HP
- Gravity Interference (Lunar-Charged): 4.70% Max HP
- Gravity Interference (Lunar-Bloom): 1.41% Max HP × 5
- Gravity Interference (Lunar-Crystallize): 8.82% Max HP
Elemental Burst: Moonlit Melancholy
The Elemental Burst deals AoE Hydro damage and creates a Lunar Domain for a fixed duration.
- Domain duration: 20s
- Cooldown: 15s
- Energy cost: 60
- Lunar Reaction DMG Bonus (Talent Lv. 1): 13% (scales upward with talent level in the data table)
Normal/Charged: Verdant Dew and Moondew Cleanse
Columbina’s Charged Attack has a conditional replacement: if she has at least 1 stack of Verdant Dew (resource details not fully defined in this dataset), her Charged Attack becomes Moondew Cleanse.
- Moondew Cleanse: consumes 1 Verdant Dew, costs no Stamina, and deals 3 instances of AoE damage listed as Dendro and categorized as Lunar-Bloom DMG.
Passives and constellations worth tracking
Passives (notable)
- CRIT Rate stacking after Interference: triggering Gravity Interference grants +5% CRIT Rate for 10s, stacking up to 3 times (max +15% CRIT Rate).
- Lunar Domain bonuses by reaction type: inside the Lunar Domain, Lunar reactions provide reaction-specific benefits, including shorter “thundercloud” intervals for Lunar-Charged, and generation of a special resource for Lunar-Bloom on a timed cap.
- Exploration utility (region-specific): a revival effect is listed for the Nod-Krai region with a 100s cooldown.
Constellations (high-level)
- Instant Interference trigger: using the Elemental Skill can immediately trigger an effect equivalent to Gravity Interference, limited to once every 15s.
- CRIT DMG amplifier window: after Lunar reactions trigger inside the Lunar Domain, the CRIT DMG of the corresponding Elemental DMG type is listed as increased by 80% for 8s (non-stacking per element type).
Build heuristics from the kit
- HP matters: multiple multipliers and Lunar bonuses scale on Max HP. 35,000 HP is a clear breakpoint to cap the passive Lunar Base DMG bonus.
- Damage stats: after HP, typical damage stats (Hydro DMG Bonus, CRIT) remain relevant for Hydro portions.
- Energy: Burst cost is 60, but Energy Recharge targets cannot be derived here without particle generation and rotation assumptions.
Team directions
- Lunar-Charged focus: pair Hydro + Electro to bias Gravity toward Lunar-Charged Interference outcomes.
- Lunar-Bloom focus: pair Hydro + Dendro to bias toward Lunar-Bloom outcomes and interact with Verdant Dew mechanics.
- Lunar-Crystallize focus: pair Hydro + Geo if the goal is to bias Interference toward the Geo-type outcome and potential defensive layering.
What to validate on release
- Gravity gain rate: how quickly Gravity accumulates per Lunar trigger, and what counts as “Lunar Reaction DMG.”
- Gravity Ripple tick rate: frequency of the continuous AoE Hydro hits (DPS math depends on this).
- Verdant Dew: generation rules, cap, and whether it’s tied to Lunar-Bloom or Domain effects.
- Domain behavior: refresh rules and interaction details with existing reaction systems.
